  1. Holy guacamole...Haiti people! I keep hearing it everywhere when someone makes a comment about the heat, the bad wifi, the flies, animals, etc "welcome to Haiti" is everyone's new favorite phrase. When I stepped off the plane in port au prince I knew I was on my way to a life changing adventure. From our crazy 6 hour bus ride to project espwa to holding little babies as they sleep, life has been amazing. My dad told us all tonight that we're here to find ourselves, which is funny because my boyfriend texted me the same thing. He doesn't want to be a distraction for me this week because he knows I'm here to find out what God has in store for me, and not what is going on back home. I'm finding it hard not to fidget or look for something to occupy me. I hate silence, and Haiti is very quiet. The city is loud, the people are loud, but it feels so quiet. I'm learning a lot about how to love, and I wish I could bring those babies home. (Really though I would if I could). Please continue to keep us in your prayers! I love you and goodnight!
